Jeanette C. is a passionate composer, musician and sound designer. She also has an interest in software development and web design, though these interests haven't born many fruit.
Taught on the piano, Jeanette has played baroque music, jazz, folklore and mainstream. For a long time now, her real passion has been baroque music, J. S. Bach in particular. Though she has never made her love into a profession, she has gathered many skills over the years. Her musical interests are wide spread, if selective, bordering on the paradox. Compositions have been influenced by jazz, progressive rock, electronica, straight pop and classical music. To realise these creative impulses Jeanette acquired many skills in the technology that goes with the terrain, this includes recording, mixing and mastering.
Another true love that arose from music making, was sound design, which is reflected in the fair number of DSI Prophet 12 patches and Csound UDO (User Defined Opcodes) on this site. Tools of choice include a few hardware synths ranging from analogue, to virtual analogue, sampled based, FM and wavetable.
